Flex Tech High School is a 21st century school that embraces project based learning because we know understanding and engagement come from meaningful activity. With ‘high school defined by you’ as our motto, Flex Tech encourages students to design their own path to graduation by taking advantage of interest-driven projects and flexible scheduling. Most importantly our students develop deep relationships with caring adults. Every student is assigned an advisor who tracks their progress, helps them set ambitious goals, and makes sure they graduate on time and prepared for post-secondary learning.

At its heart, FlexTech High School is committed to welcoming students into school in a way that encourages work on their terms. By acknowledging and recognizing the areas where students may have previously struggled in school and assisting the student in designing a program that addresses these needs, students value themselves as learners and reengage in the learning process. The need for meaningful, relevant work is central to our flexible learning model.
The curriculum requires instructional strategies that involve the student. In addition to students being fully aware of their learning goal and the intended outcomes, teachers at FlexTech rarely rely on full-classroom lectures. They’ll instead act as consultants, helping students explore, express and articulate their understanding of content.
